As Head of Operations, Carl is responsible for rent and income services, housing and tenancy management, repairs and property services, and Local Space’s planned asset management services (including health and safety). His department also delivers frontline services to all customers and is responsible for the majority of customer complaints.

Carl is responsible for ensuring safe, quality homes through maintenance and compliance safety standards. He promotes transparency, fairness, and respect in customer relations, maintains safe neighbourhoods, and manages the lettings process, welcoming new customers and handling internal moves. Carl joined Local Space in 2020 from Homes at Haringey where he headed up their business improvement, complaints, voids, income management, and tenancy services departments.
