Our statement on the riots

The violence that we have seen over the weekend is abhorrent and we firmly stand against the racism, fascism, anti-migrant hatred and Islamophobia we’ve seen on the streets and online.

We want our customers to feel safe in their homes, a place where they can put down roots and be part of a diverse, close-knit community.

If you witness anything or feel threatened in your community or online, please contact the police. If there is anything that isn’t life-threatening, you can contact 101 or the community safety team at your local authority. You can report hate crime online with the Metropolitan Police or Essex Police. You can also report hate crime to Stop Hate UK and report anti-Muslim attacks to Tell Mama.

Following the riots, we have seen people come together to repair the damage and offer support to those who need it most. There are strong, compassionate communities across the UK who are united against this hatred and violence and we want to remember this during a time of high tension.
