Local Space has recruited Victor da Cunha as their new Chair. Victor is Chief Executive at Curo Group and has over 20 years working in housing in roles such as Director of Resident Services with East Thames Housing Group and Interim Chief Executive with Estuary Housing Association. In 2019 he was awarded Property Personality of the Year by Business Insider and Lifetime Achievement Award by Vistage. Victor also holds a number of non-executive positions which include Chair with Homes for the South West; a lobbying group of 11 Housing Associations.
Chief Executive, Josie Parsons said “we are very fortunate to have Victor as our new Chair to help and support us to navigate the very challenging times ahead of us”.
Victor said “I am delighted to be working with Local Space and believe that we can do great things together to contribute to reducing London’s homelessness by working closely with our key local authority partners in a part of London I know very well and remain closely connected with”.
